style=\"text-align: justify;\">Crystal presents statistics of consonant occurrences \u201cin a sample of conversational RP\u201d, it means frequency of consonant-phonemes as they were used in the spoken performances even in 1947 (Crystal, 2011, p. 242). The same statistics, which was originally prepared by Fry, is presented in Gimson\u00b4s publication (1970, p. 219).
