Z\u00a0dejinno-filozofick\u00e9ho h\u013eadiska v\u0161ak niekedy b\u00fdva podce\u0148ovan\u00fd. Pr\u00ed\u010dinou je skuto\u010dnos\u0165, \u017ee stredovek\u00ed a\u00a0novovek\u00ed filozofi sa naj\u010dastej\u0161ie dovol\u00e1vali Plat\u00f3na a\u00a0Aristotela, a\u00a0v\u0161etko, \u010do bolo mimo aristotelizmu a\u00a0platonizmu bolo pova\u017eovan\u00e9 za menejcenn\u00e9. Tento postoj je dnes u\u017e zv\u00e4\u010d\u0161a prekonan\u00fd a\u00a0v\u00fdskum helenistickej filozofie prin\u00e1\u0161a zauj\u00edmav\u00e9 v\u00fdsledky.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-047edb0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"047edb0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">S\u00f3kratovi dedi\u010di<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6a3cce3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6a3cce3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pre helenizmus Plat\u00f3n a\u00a0Aristotel\u00e9s neboli \u201ek\u013e\u00fa\u010dov\u00fdmi hr\u00e1\u010dmi\u201c. Aristotelom zalo\u017een\u00e1 tzv. peripatetick\u00e1 \u0161kola pretrvala len p\u00e1r desa\u0165ro\u010d\u00ed po smrti svojho majstra a\u00a0pre helenizmus bola u\u017e len hist\u00f3riou. Plat\u00f3nova Akad\u00e9mia pretrvala ove\u013ea dlh\u0161ie (takmer 9 storo\u010d\u00ed), av\u0161ak okolo roku 270 p.\u00a0n.\u00a0l. ju Arkesilaos \u2013 piaty n\u00e1stupca vo veden\u00ed Akad\u00e9mie po Plat\u00f3novi \u2013 orientoval smerom ku skepticizmu, teda smerom k\u00a0jednej z\u00a0troch dominantn\u00fdch helenistick\u00fdch filozofi\u00ed.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Filozofom, ktor\u00e9ho ohlas bol v\u00a0helenizme najviac \u017eiv\u00fd, bol S\u00f3krat\u00e9s. Po jeho smrti sa k\u00a0S\u00f3kratovi ako k\u00a0svojmu u\u010dite\u013eovi, okrem Plat\u00f3na a\u00a0Xenofonta, hl\u00e1sila viac ne\u017e desiatka \u017eiakov, ktor\u00ed postupne rozvinuli vlastn\u00e9 filozofick\u00e9 presved\u010denia. Novovek\u00e1 trad\u00edcia ozna\u010d\u00ed t\u00fdchto \u010fal\u0161\u00edch \u017eiakov a\u00a0ich hnutia ako \u201emal\u00e9 s\u00f3kratovsk\u00e9 \u0161koly\u201c, \u010do je historick\u00fd paradox, preto\u017ee dobov\u00fd vplyv viacer\u00fdch z\u00a0nich bol enormn\u00fd. Neskor\u0161ie hlavn\u00e9 helenistick\u00e9 pr\u00fady teda nenadv\u00e4zovali na Plat\u00f3na a\u00a0Aristotela, ale za svojich zakladate\u013eov pokladali bu\u010f in\u00fdch S\u00f3kratov\u00fdch priamych \u017eiakov (kynici Antisthena, kyrenaici Aristippa), alebo sa vehementne prihl\u00e1sili priamo k\u00a0S\u00f3kratovmu odkazu (akademick\u00ed skeptici a\u00a0stoici). Aby sme lep\u0161ie porozumeli helenistickej filozofii, predstav\u00edme dve tak\u00e9to \u201emal\u00e9\u201c s\u00f3kratovsk\u00e9 hnutia.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-562f76d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"562f76d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Kyrenajci<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-081f0dc elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"081f0dc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Zakladate\u013eom tohto filozofick\u00e9ho hnutia bol S\u00f3kratov \u017eiak a\u00a0Plat\u00f3nov s\u00fa\u010dasn\u00edk Aristippos z\u00a0Kyr\u00e9ny (odtia\u013e n\u00e1zov \u0161koly). Kyrenaici p\u00f4sobili hlavne v\u00a04. a\u00a0v\u00a0polovici 3. st. p.\u00a0n.\u00a0l. Najzn\u00e1mej\u0161\u00edmi n\u00e1stupcami Aristippa boli jeho dc\u00e9ra Ar\u00e9t\u00e9 a\u00a0vnuk Aristippos mlad\u0161\u00ed, ktor\u00fd vraj jeho u\u010denie zosystematizoval. V\u00a0polovici 3. st. p.\u00a0n.\u00a0l. bolo u\u010denie kyrenaicov postupne vytla\u010den\u00e9 vplyvnej\u0161\u00edm epikureizmom. Prim\u00e1rnym z\u00e1ujmom kyrenaicov bola etika, nesen\u00e1 ur\u010dit\u00fdm skeptick\u00fdm epistemologick\u00fdm stanoviskom. Pod\u013ea nich vonkaj\u0161ie podnety alebo okolnosti vyvol\u00e1vaj\u00fa v\u00a0na\u0161ej du\u0161i pocity\/v\u00e1\u0161ne (<em>path\u00e9<\/em>), ktor\u00e9 sa prejavuj\u00fa ako dva z\u00e1kladn\u00e9 stavy du\u0161e \u2013 rozko\u0161\/slas\u0165 (<em>h\u00e9don\u00e9<\/em>) a\u00a0boles\u0165\/stras\u0165 (<em>ponos<\/em>). Pocity s\u00fa jedinou vecou, ku ktorej m\u00e1me pr\u00edstup, sprostredk\u00favaj\u00fa v\u00fdlu\u010dne sam\u00e9 seba a\u00a0pravdiv\u00fa povahu vonkaj\u0161ieho sveta preto nem\u00f4\u017eeme pozna\u0165. Ako bezprostredn\u00e9 obsahy na\u0161ich sk\u00fasenost\u00ed s\u00fa pocity nespochybnite\u013en\u00e9 a\u00a0v\u017edy pravdiv\u00e9 (nem\u00f4\u017eme sa m\u00fdli\u0165 v\u00a0pocite, ktor\u00fd aktu\u00e1lne zak\u00fa\u0161ame). Ka\u017ed\u00fd pocit je z\u00e1rove\u0148 individu\u00e1lny a\u00a0neprenosn\u00fd, preto s\u00fa n\u00e1m pocity druh\u00fdch nepr\u00edstupn\u00e9, nie je mo\u017en\u00e9 ich zdie\u013ea\u0165 a\u00a0nem\u00f4\u017ee existova\u0165 nie\u010do, ako spolo\u010dn\u00e9 krit\u00e9rium pravdivosti.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pocity v\u00a0na\u0161ej du\u0161i vyvol\u00e1vaj\u00fa tri z\u00e1kladn\u00e9 druhy pohybov \u2013 siln\u00fd, sprev\u00e1dzan\u00fd stras\u0165ou, slab\u00fd, sprev\u00e1dzan\u00fd rozko\u0161ou a\u00a0\u017eiadny, ktor\u00fd nie je ani slastn\u00fd ani strastn\u00fd. Prv\u00fdm sa treba vyh\u00fdba\u0165, druh\u00e9 si voli\u0165, tretie s\u00fa bezcenn\u00e9. V\u0161etky pocity maj\u00fa kr\u00e1tke trvanie, ke\u010f pomin\u00fa, str\u00e1caj\u00fa svoju hodnotu. Hlavn\u00fdm cie\u013eom je preto jednotliv\u00e1 slas\u0165, pri\u010dom uprednostni\u0165 m\u00e1me slasti telesn\u00e9, ktor\u00e9 s\u00fa intenz\u00edvnej\u0161ie ne\u017e du\u0161evn\u00e9. Bla\u017eenos\u0165 (<em>eudaimonia<\/em>) vznik\u00e1 ako s\u00fahrn pr\u00edtomn\u00fdch minul\u00fdch a\u00a0bud\u00facich slast\u00ed. Tento siln\u00fd hedonistick\u00fd aspekt bol u\u017e u\u00a0Aristippa vyva\u017eovan\u00fd d\u00f4razom na to, \u017ee sa nesmieme necha\u0165 slas\u0165ami zotro\u010di\u0165 (\u010do by viedlo k\u00a0strasti). Spr\u00e1vne u\u017e\u00edvanie slast\u00ed je podmienen\u00e9 s\u00f3kratovskou starostlivos\u0165ou o\u00a0seba, ktor\u00e1 predpoklad\u00e1 filozofick\u00e9 vzdelanie, sebaovl\u00e1danie a\u00a0slobodu. Cie\u013eom pre kyrenaicov je \u017eivot ako celok, pre\u017eit\u00fd v\u00a0slobode, pri rozumnom u\u017e\u00edvan\u00ed slast\u00ed.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b49113a elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"b49113a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Kynici<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-57c99db elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"57c99db\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Kynici boli najpopul\u00e1rnej\u0161\u00edm, najvplyvnej\u0161\u00edm a\u00a0najdlh\u0161ie p\u00f4sobiacim hnut\u00edm, ktor\u00e9 sa vyprofilovalo z\u00a0tzv. mal\u00fdch s\u00f3kratovsk\u00fdch \u0161k\u00f4l. P\u00f4sobili od polovice 4. st. p.\u00a0n.\u00a0l. a\u017e po koniec antiky, priamo ovplyvnili stoick\u00fa filozofiu, a\u00a0liter\u00e1rne formy satiry, par\u00f3die a\u00a0aforizmov. N\u00e1zov hnutia je odvoden\u00fd od gr\u00e9ckeho slova \u201e<em>kynikos<\/em>\u201c, ktor\u00e9 znamen\u00e1 \u201eps\u00ed\u201c a\u00a0odkazuje na ich sp\u00f4sob \u017eivota. Teoretick\u00e9 sk\u00famania kynici pova\u017eovali za viac-menej zbyto\u010dn\u00e9, namiesto nich uprednost\u0148ovali vedom\u00e9 praktizovanie svojho vlastn\u00e9ho sp\u00f4sobu \u017eivota.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Kynizmus radik\u00e1lne prehodnotil vz\u0165ah \u010dloveka a\u00a0kult\u00fary. Kynici boli presved\u010den\u00ed, \u017ee pr\u00edroda vybavila \u010dloveka v\u0161etk\u00fdm potrebn\u00fdm pre \u017eivot. Kult\u00fara \u2013 ako protiklad pr\u00edrody \u2013 so svojimi z\u00e1konmi, normami a\u00a0konvenciami (<em>nomos<\/em>) je pre na\u0161u prirodzenos\u0165 (<em>fysis<\/em>) bu\u010f zbyto\u010dn\u00e1, alebo priam \u0161kodliv\u00e1. \u010cloveku k\u00a0dosiahnutiu bla\u017eenosti (<em>eudaimonia<\/em>) sta\u010d\u00ed m\u00e1lo \u2013 iba to, \u010do uspokoj\u00ed jeho prirodzen\u00e9 potreby. Ide\u00e1lom kynizmu sa preto stala sebesta\u010dnos\u0165 (<em>autarkeia<\/em>). T\u00fa kynici dosahovali prostredn\u00edctvom cvi\u010denia (<em>ask\u00e9sis<\/em>) \u2013 tak telesn\u00e9ho (otu\u017eilos\u0165, kond\u00edcia, fyzick\u00e1 pr\u00e1ca), ako aj du\u0161evn\u00e9ho (nez\u00e1vislos\u0165 od bohatstva, sl\u00e1vy, moci). D\u00f4le\u017eitou s\u00fa\u010das\u0165ou kynick\u00e9ho \u017eivota boli schopnos\u0165 hovori\u0165 slobodne a\u00a0\u00faprimne (<em>parrh\u00e9sia<\/em>), a\u00a0schopnos\u0165 kona\u0165 slobodne, nez\u00e1visle na konvenci\u00e1ch (<em>eleutheria<\/em>). Odklon od spolo\u010dnosti vy\u00fastil do kynick\u00e9ho kozmopolitizmu \u2013 presved\u010denia, \u017ee kynik nepatr\u00ed nijakej obci \u010di \u0161t\u00e1tu (tie s\u00fa len \u013eudsk\u00fdm vyn\u00e1lezom), je doma tam, kde pr\u00e1ve je, je obyvate\u013eom cel\u00e9ho sveta.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Hlavn\u00fdm in\u0161pir\u00e1torom kynizmu bol Antisthen\u00e9s, ktor\u00fd patril do naju\u017e\u0161ieho kruhu S\u00f3kratov\u00fdch \u017eiakov. Zdatnos\u0165 (<em>aret\u00e9<\/em>) je pod\u013ea neho predov\u0161etk\u00fdm vecou \u010dinov a\u00a0nepotrebuje mnoho u\u010denia (t. j. teoretick\u00e9ho sk\u00famania). Sama sta\u010d\u00ed pre bla\u017een\u00fd \u017eivot, ktor\u00fd nevy\u017eaduje ni\u010d in\u00e9 len sebaovl\u00e1danie, s\u00f3kratovsk\u00fa siln\u00fa v\u00f4\u013eu. Priamym zakladate\u013eom kynizmu bol o\u00a0gener\u00e1ciu mlad\u0161\u00ed Diogen\u00e9s zo Sin\u00f3py. Trad\u00edcia ho predstavila ako satirick\u00e9ho provokat\u00e9ra a\u00a0neortodoxn\u00e9ho moralistu, steles\u0148uj\u00faceho svoj\u00edm \u017eivotom vlastn\u00e9 presved\u010denia. Mnoh\u00e9 anekdoty referuj\u00fa o\u00a0jeho asketickom sp\u00f4sobe \u017eivota (zanedban\u00fd odev, sud ako obydlie) a\u00a0d\u00f4raznom poh\u0155dan\u00ed konvenciami (odmietanie autor\u00edt, masturb\u00e1cia na verejnosti). Cie\u013eom jeho kynickej bezosty\u0161nosti (<em>anaideia<\/em>) bolo nastavi\u0165 zrkadlo dobovej spolo\u010dnosti, uk\u00e1za\u0165 rozporuplnos\u0165 \u013eudsk\u00fdch konvenci\u00ed a\u00a0nadradenos\u0165 prirodzenosti nad v\u0161etk\u00fdm ostatn\u00fdm. K\u00a0v\u00fdznamn\u00fdm kynikom \u010falej patrili Krat\u00e9s z\u00a0Th\u00e9b (u\u010dite\u013e zakladate\u013ea stoicizmu Z\u00e9n\u00f3na z\u00a0Kitia), jeho man\u017eelka Hipparchia a\u00a0jej brat Metrokl\u00e9s z\u00a0Mar\u00f3neie. Stoici ozna\u010dili kynizmus za \u201eskr\u00e1ten\u00fa cestu k\u00a0zdatnosti\u201c. Niektor\u00e9 prvky kynizmu, predov\u0161etk\u00fdm asketizmus, si pravdepodobne osvojilo aj ran\u00e9 kres\u0165anstvo.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0c47af6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0c47af6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Umenie \u017ei\u0165<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-26ea65d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"26ea65d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Z\u00a0\u201evarn\u00e9ho kotla\u201c at\u00e9nskeho intelektu\u00e1lneho \u017eivota sklonku klasickej doby sa nakoniec vyprofilovali tri hlavn\u00e9 pr\u00fady helenistickej filozofie \u2013 stoici, epikurejci a\u00a0skeptici. Napriek tomu, \u017ee dve z\u00a0t\u00fdchto \u0161k\u00f4l vznikali v\u00a0At\u00e9nach, ich zakladatelia neboli At\u00e9n\u010dania. Najbli\u017e\u0161ie k\u00a0At\u00e9nam mal Epik\u00faros. Zakladate\u013e stoicizmu \u2013 Z\u00e9n\u00f3n pricestoval do At\u00e9n zo vzdialen\u00e9ho Cypru a\u00a0jeho prv\u00ed nasledovn\u00edci \u2013 Kleanth\u00e9s a\u00a0Chrysippos, sa narodili v\u00a0Malej \u00c1zii. Otec skepticizmu Pyrrh\u00f3n v\u00a0At\u00e9nach nep\u00f4sobil, no jeho filozofia nesk\u00f4r hlboko ovplyvnila plat\u00f3nsku Akad\u00e9miu. Poch\u00e1dzal z\u00a0\u00c9lidy na gr\u00e9ckom Pelopon\u00e9ze a\u00a0ovplyvnili ho vraj indick\u00ed brahmani, s\u00a0ktor\u00fdmi sa stretol ako \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edk Alexandrovej v\u00fdpravy na v\u00fdchod. Aj tu mo\u017eno vidie\u0165 charakter helenizmu, ktor\u00fd v\u00a0sebe integroval r\u00f4zne kult\u00farne prvky, a\u00a0jeho filozofi prin\u00e1\u0161ali otvorenej\u0161iu a\u00a0univerz\u00e1lne pr\u00edstupnej\u0161iu filozofiu.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Filozofia helenistick\u00fdch \u0161k\u00f4l sa orientovala predov\u0161etk\u00fdm na \u010dloveka. Matematika, astron\u00f3mia \u010di fyzika, ktor\u00e9 boli v\u00a0predklasickom a\u00a0klasickom obdob\u00ed s\u00fa\u010das\u0165ou filozofie, sa osamostatnili. Filozofi u\u017e nekreslili mapy (ako Anaximandros), nesk\u00famali tel\u00e1 \u017eivo\u010d\u00edchov (ako Aristotel\u00e9s), ani si nekl\u00e1dli ot\u00e1zky zo stereometrie (ako Plat\u00f3n). Filozofia sa zmenila na \u201eumenie \u017ei\u0165\u201c. \u201ePr\u00ed\u010dinou, ktor\u00e1 vedie k\u00a0objaveniu sa filozofie, je zmiernenie toho, \u010do v\u00a0\u017eivote sp\u00f4sobuje nepokoj (<em>tarach\u00f3d\u00e9s<\/em>)\u201c, hovor\u00ed Xenokrat\u00e9s (zl. 253,2). Helenistick\u00fd filozof mal tento nepokoj vylie\u010di\u0165. Mal h\u013eada\u0165 a\u00a0n\u00e1js\u0165 \u201edobr\u00fd \u017eivot\u201c, by\u0165 schopn\u00fd ho obh\u00e1ji\u0165, vyu\u010dova\u0165 a\u00a0v\u00a0neposlednom rade aj autenticky \u017ei\u0165. Ne\u0161lo tu o \u201emechanick\u00fa\u201c fyziku Archimedovho typu, ale o\u00a0premyslen\u00fd n\u00e1h\u013ead na <em>fysis<\/em> \u2013 pr\u00edrodu, \u010di prirodzenos\u0165 sveta, vr\u00e1tane bohov, ktor\u00fdch Gr\u00e9ci nevn\u00edmali transcendentne, ale v\u017edy ako s\u00fa\u010das\u0165 sveta. Fyzika helenistick\u00fdch filozofov neodha\u013eovala \u201epr\u00edrodn\u00e9 z\u00e1kony\u201c, ale sk\u00famala, ako \u010dlovek so svetom a\u00a0svet s\u00a0\u010dlovekom interaguje, a\u00a0ak\u00e9 je jeho postavenie v\u00a0\u0148om.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 O\u00a0druhej \u010dasti Tim\u00f3n hovor\u00ed ako o\u00a0sp\u00f4sobe, ako sa vo\u010di veciam spr\u00e1vame. Ke\u010f o\u00a0p\u00e1r viet nesk\u00f4r (<em>Praep. evang.<\/em> XIV, 18, 3,3) t\u00fato \u010das\u0165 vysvet\u013euje, hovor\u00ed o\u00a0\u013eudsk\u00fdch zmysloch a\u00a0n\u00e1zoroch. Epikurejci t\u00fato \u010das\u0165 nazvali kanonika, stoici logika. Jej n\u00e1pl\u0148ou bola jednak te\u00f3ria poznania \u2013 teda ot\u00e1zka, ako vn\u00edmame a\u00a0interpretujeme \u201evonkaj\u0161\u00ed\u201c svet, jednak sk\u00famanie toho, ako o\u00a0svete a\u00a0sami o\u00a0sebe vypoved\u00e1me, teda ako pou\u017e\u00edvame jazyk \u2013 ako rozli\u0161ujeme pravdu od nepravdy, dobro od zla.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Poslednou, tre\u0165ou \u010das\u0165ou, ktor\u00fa Tim\u00f3n popisuje ako n\u00e1sledok pre t\u00fdch, ktor\u00ed sa bud\u00fa spr\u00e1va\u0165 s\u00a0oh\u013eadom na prv\u00e9 dve \u010dasti, je etika. Predmetom tejto \u010dasti filozofie bola pre v\u0161etky tri helenistick\u00e9 smery ot\u00e1zka, ako \u017ei\u0165 tak, aby sme sa vyhli utrpeniu a\u00a0\u017eili bla\u017eene. V\u0161etky tri \u010dasti filozofie \u2013 fyzika, logika a\u00a0etika \u2013 vytv\u00e1raj\u00fa jednotn\u00fd celok. Stoici s\u00fadr\u017enos\u0165 v\u0161etk\u00fdch \u010dast\u00ed filozofie ukazovali na obraze z\u00e1hrady, kde logika je plotom, fyzika p\u00f4dou a\u00a0stromami, a\u00a0etika plodmi (D. L. 7, 40). Etika m\u00e1 by\u0165 vyvrcholen\u00edm \u2013 plodom filozofie, nie kv\u00f4li \u0161pekulat\u00edvnym z\u00e1verom, ale kv\u00f4li svojmu praktick\u00e9mu rozmeru. V\u00a0modernej terminol\u00f3gii by v\u00fdznamu tohto slova prisl\u00fachalo sk\u00f4r slovn\u00e9 spojenie \u201evysok\u00e1 kvalita \u017eivota\u201c, alebo \u201ezmyslupln\u00fd \u017eivot\u201c, \u010di anglick\u00e9 slov\u00e1 \u201ehappiness\u201c alebo \u201ewelfare\u201c.
